1. From the app (recommended)
- Open the app and go to Profile → Privacy → Delete account.
- Tap "Send me the code by email": you will receive a 6-digit confirmation code.
- Enter your password (if your account has one) and the code, then confirm.
For accounts created with Google or Apple, no password is required: the email code is enough. If you logged in with Apple, the connection is also revoked with Apple.
2. By email (alternative)
If you cannot access the app, write to youcan@connectyourlife.it from the email address you registered with, using "Account deletion" as the subject. We will process the request within 30 days, subject to identity verification.
What data is deleted
- Deleted/anonymised immediately: first name, last name, username, email, date of birth, gender, city, photo, availability, notification tokens, sessions.
- Kept in anonymous form: sports results of matches played (scores, standings), no longer linkable to you — these are needed to preserve the integrity of other users' standings.
- Kept for legal obligations: the consent log and audit trails required by the GDPR, for the strictly necessary period.
Before deleting your account, you can download a copy of your data from Profile → Privacy → Export my data. Full details in the Privacy policy.
